Hi. I’m Tony - a happy, semi-retired, owner-occupier of a quarter hectare slice of Subtropical Paradise in Northern Hawkes Bay. (close to Mahia) here I grow pineapples, bananas, cherimoya, Jabuticaba, tamarillos, cherries, persimmon, avocado, fig, citrus and the more common mixed pip and stone orchard varieties that altogether provides some kind of fruit that is harvestable almost all year round. During the past 8 years, this semi-rural, fully hedged property has been divided into 3 very private sections which now creates 2 extra private dwelling areas separate from the main house area. One park-up .section is available for long term rent and the other section is available for long term lease. The overall concept has been to share the property along the lines of a mutually cooperative park over property (POP) for like-minded semi retired DIY’ers like myself.
