A fascinating 20 hectares, mixed contour with fenced bare land, bush, creek and larger stream, some undeveloped flat terraces and room for much more. Been here four years, currently just us with 2 young children, small amount of stock, and intermittent helpers. Had another family in a tiny home on a developed site last year which worked brilliantly. Some additional funds via rental amounts will help us improve the access to the whole land, repair the bridge, develop gravity-fed or solar-pumped water source - we currently have rainwater & heaps of water pumped from a year-round stream running off conventional farmland. We have given a nominal ‘as low as we could go’ rental suggestion, really our preference would be for a proportion of communal gardens and/or other work exchange to supplement or conceivably even reduce that weekly charge. We require to be with others who share a vision for self sustaining, organic homesteading community, who also have some form of spiritual practice (meditation/yoga/dance/arts etc), with or without children. They are a spiritual practice as well that’s for sure! 🙂 NB please only contact us if you’re already independently committed to using 100% organic practices, and nil conventional sprays etc. We don’t have any desire to work with or try to ‘convert’ anyone who doesn’t already get that destroying microbial life and soils has no future.
