Details
Wookey Hollow is a 4 acre lifestyle block in Morison Bush which is central to Greytown, Featherston and Martinborough. The land is split down the middle by a water race and we have the land for rent on both sides of the property. There are about 5 good spots available but more with future development of the land. Power and water can be supplied. The land is nice and private and there are many schooling options close by. Greytown school bus stops at the end of the gate. We also have a huge vege garden not currently in use but you would be welcome to utilise it. The land is sunny, there is an arbour with fruit trees. We are hoping to find people who are into conscious living, low-tox, eco-friendly, home-schooling, animal loving, hippies like us and the vision is for this to be a conscious community over time. Pets and kids are welcome. Cell phone reception is not great but we would be willing to upgrade the internet to Starlink if we find multiple people to join us in our little conscious community. It would be great to have people who would be willing to help us develop the vege garden and orchard and maintain the land. We are wanting $200 per week per spot. In Spring the land floods so now is the perfect time of year and we are hoping to have new drainage installed by spring next year to keep our tenants on beyond a year. We are hoping for long-term people who want to live in a communal way but with our own private spaces. We could share the vege garden, fruit trees, chickens, and set up a communal area with a fire pit for evening gatherings if desired. This would be the start of developing a little commune/tribe with people/families who are into sharing the load of looking afer children, growing food, looking after the fruit trees and maintaining the land to make it bountiful for us all over the long term.Location
