the South Paddock

the South Paddock is a 3/4 acre lot separated from the rest of the property by a grove of Kahikatea trees. It is good farm soil, good for growing kumara, potatoes, kale, and salad veges. There are established fruit trees: apples, plums, persimmon, feijoa, limes and peaches, as well as olives, walnut and almond trees. There is a shed, the "maimai "(but you will need a Tiny House or camper van), and a small shed for tools. There is town-supply water but it needs a set-up for rain water off the roof for watering the gardens. Wifi is available over at the farm shed (Shambhala shed) which is a 5 min walk away. The agreement includes rent, plus work exchange and a requirement to take care of the paddock .
