Are you a single woman or a couple with a tiny house on wheels looking for the perfect long-term spot to call home? We have an exciting opportunity available on a beautiful property in Whangārei, becoming available in April 2025. We’re currently taking expressions of interest. The landowner is about to start building her home on more land next door. While she won’t be living in a tiny house, she is deeply involved in the tiny house community and brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for this lifestyle. Site Details: The site available for your Tiny Home is nice and private and near the end of a no exit road, with country rural views . The site is north-east facing, providing lovely morning sun. Just a 5-minute drive to Whangārei CBD, you’ll be centrally located while enjoying a peaceful rural setting. Options are: Site with no power, and water tank $160pw Site with no power, and no water tank $140pw All tenants who share the land will be required to sign a land lease contract. The Tiny House MUST: Be on wheels on a road legal trailer (sorry no yurts, tents, cabins on skids or shipping containers). The type of person/s we are looking for: Someone who also enjoys peace and quiet. A like-minded female (or couple) who embraces clean and healthy living. A working professional, entrepreneur, or retiree who values peace and respect. Someone who does not smoke or vape, and who values a clean and healthy environment. Someone who is child-free and appreciates a calm, adult-focused atmosphere. Reliable at paying rent on time. Ideally you will prefer independent living, ideal for someone who values their privacy while appreciating good kind neighbours. While we’re friendly and open to the occasional coffee catch-up, however everyone here lives independently—there’s no expectation to share communal living spaces or activities. Pets are ok but dogs must be contained in your area as there are other dogs and cats living on the property. If this sounds like the kind of place and community you’d love to be a part of, we’d love to hear from you! Let us know a bit about yourself, your tiny house, and your timeline, and we’ll be in touch as we prepare the space for late March or early April.
