Location 13 km south of Westport with one of the coast's finest surfing beaches at Tauranga Bay just a 5 minute drive & the 40 km Kawatiri Bike Trail from Westport to Charleston around the corner. Our land is 30m above sea level on a slightly elevated plateau with a mix of rolling pasture and excellent sea-to-range views. West Coast rain fills our water tanks and, true to its name, Cape Foulwind gets strong winds. 1.678 acres with no near neighbours except the couple that already lives on the property. When clear weather, we enjoy open expansive views of the Paparoa Range to the southeast, the sea and coast up to Karamea to the north. We have planted 100s of trees to create shelter belts and the beginnings of syntropic agroforestry rows. Water and power are available. Solar system: 3 rooftop 330w panels charging Ecoflow Delta Pro 3 4000w unit. There is a gravelled area near our water tanks for parking up. There is also a new unfurnished wooden cabin with 2 rooms that is available for use at a higher land lease fee. The space is wired for electric lighting and power sockets. The cabin has ample daylight due to large windows with sea view and several polycarbonate roof panels. Fully insulated. A small wood burner or gas fire would easily heat the space. In addition, there is a shared ablution block. These facilities are available at a higher land lease fee. Our land is an organic, alcohol and drug free environment, a peaceful place to live in freedom and tranquillity. If this does not suit your lifestyle, please do not apply.
