Looking for a great spot in Whangārei to park your tiny home and settle in? I have a tiny-home site available beside my home in Maunu, on a spacious bush-clad property just a short drive from central Whangārei. One of the best things about living here is the natural environment. The property has established bush and its own stream, with plenty of birdlife. Tūī are regular visitors, moreporks and kiwi can be heard at night and quail wander through the property. It feels surprisingly close to nature while still being convenient to town. The site is intended for someone who already owns a self-contained tiny home on wheels and is looking for a longer-term place to put it. The site offers: Power available Fresh water available Wastewater/septic connection Vehicle access and parking EV charging available on the property Established bush and a stream Lots of native birdlife Convenient access to Whangārei The tiny home would be positioned beside the main house, so this isn't a remote or completely secluded site. You'll have your own self-contained home and space, while still having people nearby. It could be particularly nice for someone who enjoys a bit of community rather than living completely on their own. I'm continuing to develop the outdoor areas around the house, including an outdoor entertaining area and spa pool. The idea is to make the property an enjoyable place for the people living here, rather than simply fitting another dwelling onto the land. I'm looking for one person or a couple who would be a good long-term fit — respectful, reasonably independent and comfortable living in a shared-property environment while having their own home. $250 per week. Electricity can be separately metered or charged according to actual use.
