We're early Kiwi retirees looking for a piece of land to set down a tiny home, somewhere in the Kapiti Coast/Horowhenua regions. Just the two of us, looking for a quiet area where we can set up and hang out and enjoy New Zealand. We've been traveling full-time the last nine years and intend to continue to travel for the next few years, just during the winter, and then slow down a bit after that, so we're looking for something longer term where we can develop a garden, and some friends! We'll consider anything - an intentional community, a sunny spot somewhere on a farm, a back section that's reasonably private and quiet. We've yet to purchase our tiny home but have the resources to get something that's good-looking and functional (we love Shayes Tiny Homes) - and certainly off-grid is an option. Dimensions around 12m x 3 or similar, and if there's room for a pod/studio/workshop that'd be a plus. We're mature, sensible folks, quiet and tidy, no bad habits, dependable and very easy to get on with. We've done a lot of housesitting over the last decade and can supply lots of excellent references, and less current employment references. If you have something to offer, let's talk! ;-)
