I am a 58 year old designer with a certificate in horticulture and a desire to make gardens and plant trees. I have been living in my retro motorhome (El Matador) but I’m keen to settle down (perhaps in a Lotus Belle tent). I would love to find a piece of land that I could lease long term. I am practical and hands-on. I am happy to put money towards landscaping, fencing, water capture and greenhouses. I am looking for something in the top of the South Island (Golden Bay, Karamea, Tasman or Buller regions). A water connection would be great. Power, storage and access to a bathroom would be a huge bonus! I have lots of experience renovating derelict houses, so a crumbling building or shed would be right up my alley. I can afford to pay $150pw rent. Possibly more for the right place. I am private, quiet and tidy. I have no pets but I love animals.
