I’m looking for a forever patch of land - preferably close to Nelson - to call home for me and my “single-storey relocatable home”. I am a fit and active 60+ single female, no kids, no grandchildren, no pets. I’m not in any rush as I really hope my next move will be my last so want to be very sure. I will have to organise a “lift & shift” move to relocate my place so that is going to cost $$. I need power and water connections, and sewerage setup for my [macerating] toilet. I expect to pay for my electricity in addition to a land-lease fee, which I hope to keep at about $150/week. I have an electric car I plug in overnight about once a week. I’m happy for you to pass on details to someone else you may know who could be looking for this type of land-share arrangement. I love animals but am not into gardening. I hope to get a small dog in the next few years once I’m pretty much done overseas travel. More than anything, I want a private quiet refuge. I’m a writer and find almost everywhere too noisy yet I don’t want to be too far away from libraries, hospital or medical clinic, pharmacy, supermarket, etc. It’s important to me that all arrangements will be Council approved and any consents obtained to avoid surprises down the track. My home is about 35m2 with a deck along the side and I have a small garden shed. The home is on wheels though not easy to move around and I would need a site levelled and prepared to ensure there is no subsidence.
